Fresh Kicks

It's the New Year and my babies need some new kicks!  I just learned about this limited edition collaboration with Converse and Crayola.  Chuck Taylors are just old-school cool on their own.  But with addition of fun hues taken straight from the crayon box, they are even more hip.  Moreover, most of the color combinations are gender-neutral! 

Another fun find is Chooze Shoes.  How adorable is that pair of mismatched sneakers?  They are made of 100% vegan materials and the company has an admirable mission.  

Lastly, my son is stoked with his new Shwings, "wings for your shoes"!  Very cool accessory for new shoes or to make your old shoes look new again.  They come in lace or velcro-style, in an amazing array of colors and patterns.  They are even fun for grown-ups too (I bought a pair for my runner BIL!).  You can find them online.  But I bought ours locally at Child's Play.
